Will the 3DS hack use the SD card slot? If so, then I might as well stock up on 32GB microsd's while they're still cheap.

What's the probability of the hack using the SD card slot? I doubt Neimod will make a flashcard for it, especially since he doesn't want anybody profiting off of it.

I'm just speculating is all. I don't need a concrete answer, but an educated guess would be much appreciated!

Just in case they do end up releasing a flash card, in which case I'll have to use a microSD. If not, then I'll just pop the little card into a converter so it'll work like an SD card.

Who said I wanted to play ROMs? I do, but my first priority was to get some emulators on my 3DS. :D SSB64, anybody?

Anyway, the average 3DS ROM is about 500MB, meaning I could theoretically fit around 30 games on my 3DS. That'll have to do.

Pokemon Black and White 2 are 500+Mb, so I think 3DS will be a bigger...

No... Pokemon Black and White 2 (Properly trimmed and AP patched by myself) are only 270MB each. They use flash chips with 512MB of space to hold the 270MB ROM, and the rest of that is empty space to fill the 512MB chip.

Ewww Emulators on the 3DS? Sounds gross and laggy until way to many verisions come out. Just Try an android N64 Emulator, there are some sweet android gaming devices for pretty damn cheap that look like psvita's and run all emulators.

I averaged out a handful of 3DS game file sizes and came up with a ballpark figure of 700mb-1gb, meaning if you were to get a 16GB SD Card, you'd easily be able to fit 16 games on it. That's plenty of storage space.

No one knows what we will get. We may get something eventually but we may not get kernel access in order to prevent piracy. We may actually end up with user-mode. Noone knows
