So I registered a 3DS XL December 6th and still haven't got my download code. A google search tells me that people got their code delayed a few days, but mine is delayed almost a month. I have emailed nintendo about this and am yet to receive a reply. So anybody besides me haven't got their download code yet?

I received my code the day after i registered the console, i would be concerned too if i was you.

See what they have to say when they reply to your email, i expect it's just an over-sight on their part.

Might want to edit the original post and mention this was EU only.

I'm in NA and my first thought was "what the hell, I didn't get a code when I registered mine"...and then Google broke my greedy little heart by telling me it was EU only.

Please, think of the idiots. Spare them the same heartbreak.

Wonder why Nintendo doesn't show NA some love. I bought 3 3DS XL's!!! Surely I deserve something...

You deserve the 3 3DS XL units you bought. See, wasn't that generous? As a bonus, you got Club Nintendo coins. Which you can use for exciting games like..... probably Urban Champion again next month.

You are not entitled to anything other than what you made the choice to buy. If Nintendo wants to do giveaways, it's just a bonus.

IT IS NOT FOR UK ONLY.
I got mine 3DS in Germany and still got the code.
And read this: This promotion is valid for residents of the United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Belgium, the Netherlands, Portugal and Russia.

U got yours in Spain right? Then u should get a code.
Contact Ninty immediately.

Actually I can't get the Club Nintendo coins due to some weird Nintendo logic (something about only first 8 products being eligible for points, of which most of my "products" are surveys...). So I get no coins at all, not that I really care about them all too much. As a matter of fact, I just throw the flyers out. Maybe you'd like a code next time? Also, perhaps GBATemp needs a sarcasm feature since it doesn't seem to translate properly in its natural form over the internet.

I have more than 8 products registered. I suggest you call Nintendo and talk to them. They have decent customer service, and when all else fails, create a new Club Nintendo account and register your things in that one. Do it as a family account, and you can do multiples of each game, even.

And, for everyone else. EU does not just mean the UK. It means the region generally serviced by Nintendo of Europe. It also means the EU models for the 3 distinct regions Nintendo has locked into this batch of consoles, as in NA, EU, and JP.

Isn't this covered in region-locking 101?

Having the same problem too, and I sent an email to Nintendo and they replied, saying:

Users will be sent their free download code by mid January, if you have not received your download code by this time please contact us so we can look into this matter further.
