I've downloaded some .AVI movies, which i converted with PSPVideo9 to that they would be playable at my PSP. However, the AVI had 2 Audio samples, a english and a Japanese one. The default one is Japanese. How can i still get the English Audio on my PSP?

AVI with multiple audio tracks is something of a hack as far as I am aware. Likewise I am not so familiar with the PSP video requirements beyond certain res and some flavour of MP4 but chances are you want to remux the audio tracks (both AVI and MP4 are quite easy to mess around with) into a new MP4. I do not believe the PSP supports multiple audio tracks so you will have to make a choice (or make two videos I guess).

This is a really easy process for a system to do and it will probably only be limited by your hard drive (if you have the files in front of you and it takes more than 30 seconds for a video less than three hours long something has gone very wrong).

Tools to do the deed-
MP4box with frontends in tools like YAMB or My MP4Box GUI

YAMB can do a lot with AVI as can many other tools, however there are simpler tools alongside more fully featured ones like http://fixounet.free.fr/avidemux/ and virtualdub.

Depending upon how the PSP works and what was used in the AVI you might have to convert the audio again but that is not a hard task should it come to it.

Which of the 3 links do i need? I plan on removing the Japanese sound from the .AVI, then convert it to MP4 with PSP Video 9.

That sounds like a roundabout method- if you already have the videos converted (what your opening post implied to my read of it) for some reason than injecting new audio in is so much easier. If you are planning to just convert then you can ignore the three links and probably even go with the last- I only have an older version but it looks like it comes with a PSP mode (Auto- psp) as well as a batch mode (add to joblist and then run it).
Still if AVI multitrack is a hack to the AVI standard you might find not all AVI demuxing programs will handle it (indeed yours appears to stumble on it hence this thread). Try it though and the tools links are some of the best we see in the video world. AVIdemux is a top flight video program as well so it will probably handle such things, I do not think I have any multitrack AVI files right now (I have not seen one in the better part of a decade) or I would try it.

I realise it is not quite what you wanted, we can try to do it somewhat more like what you suggest if you really want but it is potentially more hassle than the ways I am heading towards at this point, I will also say check your system track if that is what you use to switch when playing on a PC for you might be able to set a new default track there in which case you could continue using your current converter program.

It is both better and worse you are dealing with MKV- it is a lot more accepting of things but at the same time MKV is usually held as a "end result" format rather than one you would use when getting to somewhere else.

You can demux MKV files some of the time though. The popular (read near universal standard) muxing toolkit MKVtoolnix ( http://www.bunkus.org/videotools/mkvtoolnix/ )has a program called mkvextract as part of it all. Various GUI programs exist for the extraction component which is otherwise a fairly fiddly command line program (not sure about newer versions) like MKVextractGUI 2 and I guess http://apps.einsof-haras.ca/mkvcleaver_howto.html .
Its efficacy is debatable though depending upon what you have it changes, nothing stopping you from transcoding/reencoding though.
Speaking of such things in your system tray when playing back the MKV will be a little icon that will allow you to change tracks- you can force this to be another track if you want and change the defaults to be the other (be warned not all anime groups did well here as the setting is a boring checkbox at the end of fighting with an encoder, if you are dealing with TV rips and such like then all bets are off). Bonus is with mkvtoolnix you can also change this at file level again at the cost of whatever time it takes to write the file back out.

Depending upon what you goes you might also want to look into some of the PS3 intended video programs - most "HD" video (did?) comes in MKV format which the PS3 does not play and several tools were made to make the transition as easy as possible.

If you just want to reassign or remove languages/subs (or even add) then MKVtoolnix makes it super easy. If you grab the toolnix package the included mmg.exe is a nice and simple GUI than can manage your mkv's easily. Simply changing defaults on a video will take seconds to reset.

I recently ran into an AVI file with dual audio. I was kinda freaked out by it o.o

I had seen many AVI files before but never one with dual audio.

Freemake Video Converter was able to select one of the two audio files on that odd AVI file properly, and convert it to PSP playable format.
