I'm searching for a relatively good tablet.

I'm starting to develop apps for Android this semester in school, so I want a device to try them on, also, my NDS is starting to break and I need a device for quick sketching.

My budget isn't that high, so I'm thinking of a cheap tablet, since I don't really need high-end stuff (as far as I know, I know nothing about tablets nor Android).

So, do you guys have an idea of what should I get?

Get the Nexus 7. The Nexus line of devices are straight from Google and have the stock Android 'AOSP' skin, so if you're going to develop, it'll be the best. Oh, and it's cheap too (very cheap). It comes in a variety of flavors, all of which are listed on the google play store. Also, I suggest you download the Android SDK and read up a little about your device on xda-developers.

Have fun! :)

P.S. Don't worry about the specs, the N 7 is an Nvidia Tegra 3 powered quad core tablet.

France resellers are also adding ~100€ to the initial price.
But if you look on google's website directly, they have the correct prices:
https://play.google.com/store/devices/details?id=nexus_7_8gb

Though, the 8GB is not sold anymore
But the ebay link above has the 8GB at 190$, you can have the 16GB for that price.
Yeah, I tried looking for 16 GB models for the same price on Ebay Mexico but I couldn't. Guess I didn't look hard. Also, that includes international shipping, so yeah.

Check them out. You can order from the Play Store through them. They'll give you an American address to ship it to. However, to access the Play Store, you'll need a VPN or a trusted proxy. Good luck!
