i'm currently deciding between these three games and would like to hear your opinions. my interests are single player and local multiplayer; i don't care about online gameplay. 007 had potential (has anyone played it?), but after reading the reviews i think i should get one of these three games instead. i already have new mario bros, nintendo land, trine, little inferno. sonic racing is already on my list of games to buy next. i don't like scribblenauts.

Everything depends on whether or not you have a PS3/360. If you do, you can get AC3 and CoD:Blops 2 on them cheaper and Batman has additional WiiU content. If you don't though, it's probably better to get one of the two simply because Batman apparently isn't the best of ports and the extra content isn't all that great.

If I were you, I'd probably get AC3 - it looks the most interesting out of the lot. That is, unless you're into Mulitplayer - if you are, get Blops2 which admittedly is a poor port as well, but hey - it's fun online.

i like local multiplayer, don't really care for online much. to me single player and local multiplayer are of equal importance, which online not making a difference to me. black ops local multiplayer looks kinda cool with one player using the tablet, but is the single player gameplay any good?

I think he's talking about Arkham City

cod has always been an online game, get assassins creed, trust me you will love that.

try searching gamefaqs for the answer on your question about the single player.(check a guide) but I am sure it is pretty short though

I went with Batman. Main reason is that it actually uses the gamepad for things and it has a crapton of extras. Still, I've got to mention I never played the original game. Can't say which part of the extras were DLC or patch-given and which is actually new.

Somewhat doubted on AC3, but this thread and similar opinions made me change my mind.

Black Ops 2...modern warfare shooters just aren't my cup of tea.

(EDIT: it's kind of funny, but aside from batman, we've got nearly the exact same games. The only difference is that I've also bought zombiU).

so mostly black ops suggestions, then assassin's creen, then batman.

i was actually leaning towards assassin's creed between the three, but didn't want to speak my mind until i heard some opinions. now, this is tricky bc of that
target sale... may have to get more than one :)

i don't think there's too many great options at the moment. but if we have the same games a couple years from now, then i might be impressed.

If you're leaning to AC3, why not just get that? :)

I can't speak of behalf of anything but my own choice because I haven't played those. And I think this goes for the other posters as well. In the end, you mostly get opinions from people who are biased because they already spend money on it.

If you want a bad game, broken game: Assassins Creed III. To be honest I'm not into the series but I liked the look of it anyway and despite people saying it was the worst in the main series I still gave it a shot and yeah it's pretty bad.
If you want a game that is actually decent (compared to the last three CoD games) but over in less than 6 hours: Black Ops II, some nice additions to the gameplay I like how you actually play it now but still it's a short game.
If you want a great game with a lot of meat on it: Arkham City. Played a bit of it and it's a good port, they've added some worthwhile Wii U parts as well.

007 Legends is abysmal by the way and from what I've played of ZombiU it's quite underrated, I definitely get the impression that those who scored it low were expecting a FPS rather than a survival horror game. It's not perfect by any means but it's quite well thought out and has a lot of game in it.

yea opinions are going to be biased, but i still want to hear them. i'm not in a rush to buy so just doing some research...

Edit: went to target this morning because of their sale and got sonic racing, assassin's creed and black ops for $33.33 each :) (i went for the better deal; batman wasn't on sale and would have brought the avg price up to $40 each)

you should have gone blops 2.. tons of content both on-line and off.. local multiplayer options are amazing... two players local one has full TV and the other can use the gamepad screen as his own full screen.. you can also do this on-line!!! no need for two consoles for two people.. it's a fantastic game and NO, this port is NOT BAD, it's actually quite GOOD with only a couple spots of very minor slowdown in single player campaign.

I personally didn't like AC3.. I probably suck at it, but the controls feel slopy, the combat is horrendous and the constant walk 2 feet for a cut scene are driving me to the edge of insanity.. I'm bordering on hating this game. I'm planning on trading it for something else..

I heard if you put the console in 720p mode for your screen, it will have less issues with framerate.. you might want to try that because on all accounts, I heard this port is BAD.

BLOPS 2 isn't a poor port. Aside from a few framerate drops in SP, multiplayer is supposed to be just fine.

Apparently on the WiiU, the port of AC is pretty bad. Frame Rates, missing textures, buggy. Which isn't surprising if it's true considering it's made by a different team other than Rocksteady.
