your single disc games should already be named "game.iso", as most loaders are only seeing this filename.
USBLoaderGX allow other names, like GameID, and iso and gcm extension are supported (making 4 possible filenames for disc1).
But DM's auto-swap feature is using hardcoded "game.iso" and "disc2.iso", so yes you need to rename them.

You are saying that games with only one game are never working on DM2.6?
I tested single disc and multi-disc games with DM2.6 and all is working fine.

Just curious, what multi-disc games did you try?

My games have never been named game.iso, Just random names with the .iso extension. They worked up until DM 2.6 (using WiiFlow 4.0.3). I will rename them and try.

I renamed a bunch of 2 disc games and they loaded (have no saves so cannot say if they actually swpped discs):

Enter the Matrix
A bunch of RE games

Now that DM(L) supports two discs I have a rather weird question but is it possible to use Action Replay with this? i.e. make the Action Replay disc (game.iso) and the wanted game (disc2.iso) and have the disc swap after selecting the desired codes? I know using ocarina codes is possible but I thought since many of the AR codes weren't converted to ocarina and tbh I don't know how to do so!

That's an interesting idea.
I don't know if the GameID is important, but the swap disc feature only look at the filename located in the same folder.

I have a free loader disc, I can try to dump it and test the swap disc with it too.

Got already some issues with 480p support.
No PAL game can switch to 480p with DiosMios 2.6 anymore.
Means also games which natively supports 480p cannot boot in 480p (-> green screen).

Especially games like Prince of Persia have an extremely benefit if they can be played in 480p.
(Otherwise u have the typical deinterlacer lines (vertical or horizontal)).

But anyway ... I have to emphasize it's a great progress.
Especially the 2 disc support.

Converting codes isn't hard. Download GCNCrypt ( http://doc.kodewerx.org/tools.html#gcncrypt ) and ARtoWiiRD ( http://wiird.l0nk.org/forum/index.php/topic,121.0.html ), decrypt the AR code with GCNCrypt, paste into ARtoWiiRD, click the "Each code has a verifier line" checkbox, and click Convert. Much less bother doing that than messing with an AR .iso.

Yeah, join the club. It's not only PAL games. There are games in BOTH regions that don't work anymore progressive ... but there are a few that still do (Not many)

I can change back to interlaced as a workaround but what I really liked about the progressive patch was that I NEEDED it to be able to play out of region games on my TV (which I do for the language options.) and I can't now without going back to v2.4.

(I REALLY need to find some time to go back and test all the different options on all my games from 2.3 to 2.6 and making a little compat list to send to Crediar ... but my kids usually have control of the TV in the few moments I have free time and I'm actually HOME.)

ahaa.... I tried to play 007:Rogue Agent on PAL console with RGB cable attached-> Green screen!
After I switched to the standard cable (yellow, red, white) everything worked fine.

Hoping for 2.6 v2 or 2.7 now :-)

Thanks I'll try this when I get the chance!

Still I'm interested to know if an AR iso can work with DML now!

Yeah same here. Even popular ones like SmashBrosMelee (Pal) used to work fine with previous versions of DM/DML, but just green screens now with all the latter versions, no matter what video mode is chosen. Pal console with component.

To me it looks like DIOS MIOS 2.6 suffered a serious regression. On 2.5 I can load GC game no problem.

Now on 2.6 installed and USB GX r1207: 8 out of 10 times I get black screen (no DIOS MIOS splash screen). Looks to me the new HDD code has some bugs.

I have an ar disc. will dump that and try out if your idea works, since codes the normal way won't for some reason (usblgx always fails to find the gct file, although the path is properly set in the settings and the gct is correctly named after the game id) forget that part I just forgot to set a hooktype... I feel stupid :D. will report back after I've done so.

Edit: Too bad, cleanrip and also usblgx don't like the disc and give an error after the first couple of seconds. Will try to find another way to dump / obtain the iso

Edit 2: After some reading the error seems to occur because cleanrip and usblgx expect a gamecube image to be 1.35gb. on most gamecube discs the empty space is filled with garbage data, which is not the case on the ar disc. I tried to open the approximately 30 kb big iso image I got with wii scrubber, which identifies it as an empty wii image. using wiimms iso tools to verify the image gives an error about wrong / unexpected file type. will still try to load the image with dios mios and see how it goes.

Edit 3: As expected, no success so far since dios mios only code dumps when you throw the ar iso at it. Also I just read that datel disc can't be dumped the normal way since they contain bad sectors just before the data to stop the dumping process. Anyone know a work around for this? Or is the only possible way one of those special LG drives that can rip wii and gc discs (which I don't have sadly)?

Have you tried Wii Backup Manager? I never used it for ripping GC disks but I did so with Wii and pretty much any DVD drive seems to rip disks from it, sadly I don't have my AR disc anymore but I'll try looking up an already ripped AR disc since several people besides me seem to be interesting into trying this!
