TL;DR So does your novel come in paperback?
I honestly should of made it shorter and worded it better. Basically in Japan the PSP sells well, unlikely localization of JP games, PSP outselling Vita 2:1, Vita losses money on each console sold, Lack of Marketing, lack of third party support, crossbuy, crossplay, some bad exclusives(resistance), lack of upcoming games 2013 (Killzone & Soul Sacrifice), implementation of minigame like sequences, high development costs, Sony closing some studios, Nihilistic Software focus on digital, PS1 support, lack of tv out option, multiple accounts and transferring data difficulty, new memory card format due to "security", Passport Program only Japan, PS+ support, Skype and various other Apps are a huge drain on a 3G data plan, battery life not to great, multitasking problems with web & gaming, Playstation Mobile, hacks, a carrot and stick firmware approach and Remote Play.
Kaz Hirai say Vita will make a profit in three years, The PS3 tried to use a similar tactic of selling hardware for a loss but profit on Software & Accessories sa;es but the gaming division has lost $2.4 Billion since the release of the PS3.

Half this shit is random crap that has in no ways affected the sales. You literally have no clue what you're talking about. I'm saying this not in opinion but in absolute complete honesty.

I love my PS Vita. I pretty much take it everywhere I go. Complaints about the memory cards being expensive are coming from people who probably don't even own the system. Although they are warranted, it's not like you really need a crazy large stick. You're able to transfer games from either a pc or ps3 to your vita, and you can also just download them when you want them. Most of the games I play on the system recently are PS1 games, i.e. FF VII, Resident Evil, etc. I don't need to have EVERY game imaginable all the time on my system. I think most of us have been spoiled with flashcards and backups because we were able to have massive collections of games at our fingertips. This contributes to the ADHD effect where you cycle through playing a little bit of a bunch of games. If you people are able to cut back that mindset and just enjoy a single game, or even just a few at a time, you'd would appreciate them more.

The vita is a great system along with the 3DS too. I think they both are marketed to different audiences though, as having owned both I just feel a little bit more like an adult with my vita as compared to the 3ds. I prefer the screen on the vita as it is much larger and I never cared too much about 3d functionality. I've also got trigger grips on the vita and it feels much better in my hands. When I had the 3ds I had a CPP and even with it on, they system just felt horrible. The only disappointing thing right now with the vita is the lack of "killer apps", but honestly there are so many games I have back logged on the ps3 that I just play the vita to kill time.

LET THE CIRCLEWANK COMMENCE.

This is a promising thread. By probably the next page it'll be a "Let's masturbate to poor Vita sales" and "Let's burn the Vita in effigy". By the fourth page it'll turn into some spat. By the fifth page it'll be closed.

EDIT: By the way we know the Vita is doing bad, we know why it's doing bad, we don't need ANOTHER thread dedicated to why and how it's doing badly. All these threads are is just a cheaply built soapbox for people who get raging hardons at the thought of poor Vita sales to go "THE VITA SUX HURRAH!" instead of actually trying to, you know, be positive for once. I enjoy the Vita, I know it's doing badly, but I hope for the best because it's a great console with a lot of promise. Why anyone would be so gleeful at its downfall is beyond me. Even if you hate Sony and love Nintendo, a monopoly is horrible. Competition breeds success. Everyone should wish the Vita does better. On the 3DS side, a competitively selling Vita means Nintendo has to up their game. Make better titles, improve their system, stuff like that. On the Sony side, obviously a better selling Vita means the same thing.

But yeah, it just completely puzzles me why people actually love taking shots at the Vita instead of saying "It's not doing well, let's hope it does better."

I'm pretty sure only a few months ago we had similar topics for the 3DS ( before the price drop ) and you didn't seem to be too outraged by it....

I know the truth sometime can hurt, but let's face the facts, the Vita isn't relevant as an handled device nowadays and probably never will.
And why should I hope it gets better, when Sony is become a giant , arrogant manufacturer who doesn't give a shit about its loyal customers and keeps on shafting us with overpriced memory sticks and limited hardware functionality in the name of piracy protection ?
They can burn in hell for what I care.

If "overpriced memory sticks" equates to "shafting customers" then definitions have changed. You spend $20 on a memory stick if you plan on sticking to physical media. Boo fucking hoo.

Limited hardware functionality? Like what? Having the most features of any gaming handheld on the market?

I find Sony hate to be irrational. If you're really going to be calling them some tyrannical corporation off of goddamn memory cards then you really need to get your priorities straight. If they "burn in hell", every console will feel the effects. You're going to be leaving a gaping hole the market and that's never good.

Sure I find the fact that Sony decision to use the PSVita memory cards instead of the various one out there a dick move. But come on. Let's face it. It's not like you guzzle up memory thaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat fast. And it's not thaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat expensive really if you think about it. As mentioned many times already, the price of the console is actually reasonably low given the specs so I guess they have to try to make up for it somewhere else. And like Guild said, I'd rather it do well so Ninty won't be complacent. Honestly, who else can fill the space? Cellphone gaming? Pffft LOL

I hate it when people partially quote my posts....it feels like politician nowadays play dirty tricks trying to make each other look bad and silly.

Quoting out of context= very bad.
And it's not exactly like I put a wall of text out there either....

This is how you do it :

Highlight the specific part you want to answer, in this case :

Are you kidding me ? What space are you talking about ? It seams that even Sony's own 6 years old PSP is filling " The Space " much better then the Vita could ever do......
And if you look at the numbers, Cellphone games are doing pretty good these days, so why can't we run them on the Vita for example ? Because somebody up there is a greedy bastard, that's why.

[/endlesson]

By the way, among the rest, they are shafting customers with a useless handled console.

I love it when people complain about luxury pastimes.

Everyone knows that Sony personally burns down and slaughters the families of its non-followers.

Also, people, you can only ride the memory card hate train for so long. It's a one time investment, it can cost as low as $20, and there's a lot of bundles including them. It's $250 for the system, Assassin's Creed Liberation, and a 4GB memory card. Quit crying.

I'm finally going to buy a Vita because they're including a memory card. I'll wait for a black Friday sale on the Assassin's Creed bundle. I'm not complaining about the memory card move that Sony made but the situation made so I was in no rush to buy the thing. I said to myself screw them, I'll just wait till they offer a deal that's acceptable to me.

China called, they wanted their wall back.

Sony never came up with something original, in my opinion i prefer the 3DS over the PS Vita, it doesn't have 3G but so what? It has got SpotPass which is kinda the same thing, also the library of games for the 3DS are awesome :D
I take you don't know what 3G is.
Actually i know 3G better than you. And its useless on a console because it uses a lot of traffic data, therefor you pay more for it.

So how is the Vita unoriginal? It combined a lot of modern features in technology into a gaming device. Also originally doesn't mean shit. Being well designed does. And the Vita most certainly is a well designed console.

EDIT: And boohoo paying more for an optional feature on a luxury device.

I know it's just your opinion, but what makes you think the Vita and 3DS are aimed at different audiences? Because Sony said so? Just look at the 3DS library, it has many quality hardcore games, I actually miss some of the casuals...

Also, saying the use of proprietary memory cards is not a big deal is the same thing as saying the lack of a mini-sd cart slot in the iPhone is not a big deal. You can't use the SD card's you already own and you must buy a proprietary reader if you want to view your card directly on your PC and what about if you lose your card or it gets full?

That's the point. Also no one uses mini sd anymore.

Vita+USB cable. So no.

what about if you lose your card or it gets full?

Tough shit bitch, that ain't Sony's problem.
