In a perfect world, you should have a cover for every game title and emulator rom game.
But since the world is anything but perfect here's some custom covers that can be used when something is missing.

These covers were designed for WiiFlow 4 with Plugin Pack v6, you can use these covers by renaming the appropriate image to:
*gameID6.png or .jpg for Wii and gamecube games
*ID4.png or .jpg for wii and emunand channels
*foldername.png or .jpg for homebrew apps
*rom+extension-name for emulator roms

hopefully someday a separate missing cover can be used per plugin magic number which will allow the use of one cover per plugin (using magic number) and make life a lot easier

Some were posted earlier in wiiflow thread but I decided to keep everything in a single post, all future updates will be here too :)

Some covers represent the family such as Mednafin, while other are console specific to make everyone happy no matter what setup they use :P

Cool.

Something else I just thought of that might be rather spiffy for the emulator covers would be a full sized spine collection (rotated for N64 and SNES) in addition to these shrunken spine sets. To go along with those who already have their covers set up that way.

Just a quick general question about renaming covers to match the roms name:- If the rom is zipped do I rename it with the name inside the rom? i.e. mario.nes or name it mario.zip
BTW great work on these covers AbdallahTerro

this is quoted from mastershoes emucovers thread in "Emulation/Homebrew" section:
"-Rename the covers exactly to match your rom names, i've included links to some handy re-naming utilities at the beginning of this post. Wait, your not done yet... you MUST ALSO INCLUDE THE ROM EXTENSION IN THE IMAGE NAME!! For example, if you're renaming your Nintendo 64 roms, they could be in a format of .n64, .v64, or .z64. These extensions MUST be include in the image filename! For Example - Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3.z64(.png). Adding these extensions in bulk is EFFORTLESS with bulk rename utility. Open up explorer to view your filetypes, and add them all on as a "suffix". If you have multiple types of rom extensions for one emulator, just open up your folder containing the roms in Explorer, switch the view mode to "detail" and then select "type". That will seperate all your roms by there extension, and make it easier for you to group re-name.
-Put the fully Re-named covers into your wiiflow/boxcovers folder (or your custom folder setup in the .ini file - see the following example.) In this case the covers would go into "wiiflow/boxcovers/fceugx", and roms would go into "fceugx/roms"."

thanks
:)

I read this but it seems the roms are unzipped. I tried zipped and unzipped with the same name but covers don't show up. I guess I must be doing something wrong, I just dont see where. I am using your Carbonik theme with the NES Custom spine(mastershoes). Is that the correct format/pack?

I never tried to add covers to plugins yet. My files are on SD and it's almost full.
My only hope is to be able to use these images in my theme using the magic numbers as the name.
I'm full of hope this will happen someday, but it's low priority on the devs' todo list
:)

Another nice thread there Abz, to make my set complete I only need TG-16/CD(PCE/CD/DUO whatever.. hell this system had like 40 names so I dunno, personally I prefer Turbo-Grafx 16) and Virtual Boy. I also hope that one day we can just use one cover for missing covers of the specific plugin or game/nand view.

Also now that I think about it shouldn't the images on the N64 & SNES covers be rotated on their sides to match the rest of the full covers available on MS thread? If not they'll look sideways when scrolling through the games.

I'll add everything, just be patient :P
as for the rotation, I didn't look at that issue yet but I'll also do so when finished
:)

Edit: can you send me 1 cover of each non standard size/orientation cover, this will speed up the process dramatically ;)

You got it but I won't b home till around 6PM EST I'll do so as soon as I can. Thanx

Edit: also I noticed the covers are not 1090x680 so they'll look a bit stretched and blurry when used. Dunno if u did that on purpose or if I d/loaded it wrong.
