Everybody with common sense KNOWS that they shouldn't play games pre-release.
Not even 1 day before release let alone 1 month ;'D

See now I don't play online, so this I don't get. Why not even a couple of days early? Plenty of people get legit copies a few days early, certain shops you are pretty much 100% going to get it Thursday, maybe even Wednesday (Friday is official release for most stuff here). Microsoft have stated before they won't punish for playing legit games early and if you have faith that your firmware is safe and Microsoft can't tell the difference (So many seem to have 100% faith in the firmware), then as far as they are concerned, your copy is legit, so should be fine.

Obviously this is a different case, as if you aint a reviewer, you're either playing a copy or your playing an original that was grabbed from where they're are made (or at least that's what I read somewhere). Either way, no good and no need to see if it's a copy or not.

That's just being extra cautious. I've played a few games online a couple days ahead of release, and I'm fine. Just don't play a game a week, or two before release.

Devin pretty much gave the answer.

Fact is that with modded drive firmware, you're already taking risks on XBL.
Obviously you already know that ;p

That's why I said that playing pre-release is foolish, be it one day or 1 month.
1 or 2 days don't really matter but better safe then sorry.

Welp. My xbox isn't j-tagged.
Doesn't have to be. If you have a flashed drive, the absolute safest way to play is make a local account and stay offline with it. Then once Halo 4 is officially released, just delete the local profile and before you play and you're all set. Let's you play through the story just fine as you wait for release for multiplayer.

NO LIKES FOR YOU MISTER >:
...Fiine, fuck you too Dinoh

ON TOPIC HOWEVER.
Finished the campaign a little while ago. Definitely better than Halo 3, I'd rank it somewhere up around Halo 2. IMO it'd be like...
Halo 1/10th anniversary edition, Halo 2, Halo 4, Halo 3, Fuck the rest of them.

I agree with you.

Halo 3 is shit compared to this one.
However it did was weird to adjust to the controls again lol
Oh god yeah. I've been playing Borderlands 2/Dishonored so much and it felt so strange and I kept throwing grenades every time I wanted to zoom in >.< Interested to see how the multiplayer works out, though. I'm curious, is there local split-screen multiplayer options? Haven't gotten around to burning the second disc.

Yes, and you need to install the second disc's data to your 360's HDD IIRC. Dinoh and I are going to do system link sometime. :D

It also has like a mission mode.

In the second disc there is a folder called Content\000000000000000\4something.

Copy the folder within to your HDD1:\Content\000000000000000\
Then you'll have the MP installed.

Oh wow. Well, at least I didn't waste burning a disc with my ODDE. Disc 2 is installing now, and later on it's on Dinoh!

(BTW. Does it matter if I played Halo 4 on my Live Xbox's HDD? Or is the data just stored in the NAND?)
