i dunno if i should bother, as i have only two uploaded, and the second is just a continuation of the previous one. but hey, might as well.

I can see why you would only have one/two pictures something like that takes forever to get it to look right.
i know. it looks so simple, thinking about how to mix and match colors right, but it's hard as hell. i never really did learn how to see and identify colors properly (nothing wrong with my eyes though, color-wise).

I don't have an account yet, but I see that there are a lot of very detailed pictures (from lucsdf, or this one and one, for only few examples).

So, I used Colors!DS to test it myself because I don't have Wifi on my 3DS, and because DS version has sensitivity level.
Here is my only picture I did this week:

Accel World

It took me 5~6 hours I think. (edit: I forgot to sign it)

I don't know if I'll create an account for only one picture. If I'm making more pictures, I'll create an account and post the link here.

PRO:
- It's good to draw directly with a stylus on the touchscreen.
- It has sensitivity level. (DS only)
- you can browse latest and best submission directly from the console.
and that's all :(

CONS:
- No layers ! -> fixed in 3DS version.
- You don't choose the picture size, it's determined when exporting only, and making it look bad in high res and takes 5-10min to save it.
- only 2x and 4x zoom -> more in 3DS?
- Using Stylus is horrible! it hides my screen and I don't see precisely where I'm drawing when I'm working on a pixel basis.
- It froze, and I lost 15min of drawing. there's no auto-recover :(
- the screen is very small
- The top screen is often blocking my hand for precision (I forgot I could flip-y the picture)
- The colors are different from what I see on the DS (PHAT) and the exported picture.
here what I see on DS:
.
I changed the colors level, darks are darker and lights are lighter. The pink is pink instead of red, etc.
might be because I have a PHAT and not a DSLite.

Not a big fan of Accel World, but I love that picture :) . You should definitely get the 3D app when you get the chance, since it's totally worth it and it overcomes most of the cons you posted.

Anyway, here's a link to mine:

I haven't been painting much lately, but I'm trying to get back into it though.

I just finished my second piece, it's considerably better than the first one I did with a lot more effort, even though it's just a trace of a photo I took.

It has so much detail that Colors 3D on the DS can't properly export it, for shame! Thankfully the colorslive site was able to export it correctly.
I'm gonna look into their Java applet and see if it can't render a high-res image, 1600x900 properly like the 3DS should be able to but wasn't.
