why are they making an update out of this...? it sounds like something a guy with notepad could implement in 10minutes... unless there are hidden updates like HBL fix or something, this is pointless beyond belief... yeah that not having after 10minutes sure improves my experience with! i don't want to be a troll... but come on

I don't think you understand how updates work and why you're complaining about them improving your gaming experience even more is really beyond me. It's an update that adds a few convenient changes, it's not like it takes away your first born son.

be nice if they at bare minimum added the ability to download while in standby mode. so I would have to have something running to finish a download when I'm not using it

Dude i'm pretty sure these updates are optional (well to those who has OpenCMA) but yea its not like Sony is forcing you to update.

First hold the power button for 30 seconds if that doesn't work, hold R, power and the PS button to go into recovery mode and try rebuilding database (it won't delete any files)

here goes best things in life are free...
anyways you were saying?
also without openCMA, yes sony is forcing you to update.

i am not using HBL, but any word if they patched it or not? anyways i am fine with 1.6 or w/e i am on now, so not updating anytime soon unless it doesn't hinder my vita's homebrew capabilities in any way. man i am horny for some emulators on that gorgeous 5" screen and that sweet sweet hardware.

I like the L angle connectors which add more force to it I guess which defeats the point

i only buy new ones when theres a new standard and I have gear that uses it. Otherwise my cables seem to last forever.

@SylverReZ Yup. Been a longtime fan of Ween. Not a mega-fan by any means but I'm pretty familiar with most of their tunes.

I like electronics that use detachable cables, that way if the cable breaks you can just swap in a new one instead of replacing the whole unit

most battery operated mice don't even work anymore if the internal battery dies

the L hdmi adapters work great on my tv and receiver. so much less stress on the ports using them than regular cables. in that instance anyway.
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
A bigger battery could defeat the need for weighted magnets tbf

Nowadays pc mice come as light as can be, liked mine with some heft

@RedColoredStars, I also listen to Beck, some of their songs are fine. Only found out about them through Windows Me; you know, that one operating system nobody ever likes?
  • RedColoredStars @ RedColoredStars:
i dont know why tv manufactures put the hdmi ports in dumb locations so the cables have to stick out, and then down, putting stran on the ports. Instead of having the porrs along the bottom edge of the tv facing downwards.
