(great place to watch anime. Hell, even the embeded videos work on this site. One major problem. There are too many flash commercials on the site so by the time you click to start a video, the browser is out of memory :( )

the wii browser was a good idea but there wasn't anything done to it for an awesome experience. Was happy to see youtube XL working on it but still there isn't much you can do on it. Hell some pictures don't load what so ever, I get a blank screen most of the time.

I agree that the Internet Channel was mostly a missed opportunity. There are a few sites still worth using. I'm shocked that nobody took the time to A) make a homebrew browser or B ) attempt to slightly alter the browser. I made a thread a while back about spoofing sites into thinking the Internet Channel was the Android browser but after 5 pages or so, things went dead again. What's annoying now is that YouTube XL has an issue with subscriptions. I have informed Google of the situation yet they still haven't fixed the problem yet.

Off topic but, youtube should go with the youtube XL design for normal youtube too.
It's dark and easier on the eyes, it's fast, the video player is big, the controls are big, there's no bugs so it doesn't get stuck.
Too bad you only can search and view videos, you still get suggestions though.

Youtube XL looks pretty ugly on an actual computer though. Normal Youtube has been changing a bit lately in terms of interface, and I have to say I think it's a good change.

Yeah, but youtube have always been pretty buggy for me, no matter what computer I'm on. Constant errors, endless buffer thing etc.
I agree that normal youtube looks nicer but youtube xl is better since the darker theme plus bigger player is easier on the eyes.

You can make the player bigger on normal youtube, or even full screen...can't get much bigger than that ;)
Duh, you don't say...
Still like XL better because it's lag and bug free. Besides I prefer the bigger timeline, bar thingy.

Oh and I use WiiMC youtube on my Wii.

I wouldn't mind using WiiMC for YouTube if it was easier to navigate and if I could have actual playlist and subscriptions. They should consider making a separate YouTube app or giving the YouTube section a overhaul just to spite Google.
