Today has been a fun day. First I wake up with a headache, which is odd since I never get headaches...Then I go to work. Within the first 15 minutes of going to work, i'm unearthing and carrying out a large trampoline buried in the warehouse, followed by lifting 3 barbecues to heights a barbecue (they're in boxes) should not go.
For the rest of the day i'm moving heavy boxes in the warehouse and stuff.
Fun stuff. Not that bad but i'm tired, anyway. The headache didn't help when I kept getting dizzy...

But that's not where it gets fun. After working, I go shopping. Try to buy some shoes, credit card rejected. Wtf? I keep my credit card overpaid...how the fuck doesn't it work. So I jokingly tell my mom (who was with me forcing me to buy shoes >_>;; ) "It's not like I have $2000 of unexplained charges on my card or anything, why would it not work?"

So I get home, make up my plate with dinner foodstuffs, and go sit down at my computer. Notice my dad had left me a note from my bank to call them back. I shrug it off assuming they just wanna sell me something again.
I look at my bank account to see if I had anything to pay on my credit card.

Log into my account.


Stare blankly at the $2600 in charges on my card I didn't make....
$2600 in two transactions, for skincare/health products.
The fuck.
I don't give a shit how I look, I wouldn't even spend $2.50 on skincare and healthcare products >_> dafuq. Look at that damn note my dad left me.
aaand shit clicked. They were phoning about the obscene freakin' charges on my card.

Luckily I phone them up, give a ton of details, and give the big ol' "fuck you" to those transactions. Though now my card is void and useless for 8 days while they send me a new one.


Oh and the kicker, they asked about a ticketmaster charge. Apparently this is where it all started. I tried to buy some shitty boyband tickets for my sister on ticketmaster,
When I tried to buy some (pretty damn nice) seat tickets for her and her friends, it fails to go through and the site basically tells me to fuck off.
So...whatever, that failed.

The transactions for the *care products were made on the same day (made after my failed ticketmaster transactions, I had the lady check). So, fuck you ticketmaster, and fuck your archaic piece of shit system. Paypal for life.


EDIT: and clearly that headache was my spidey senses telling me shit was was going wrong. Never ignore your spidey senses.

Hrm. Decided to finally buy a damn phone.

I really don't need one all that much, but in this day and age it's just... necessary to own one. Plus it isn't THAT expensive.

Since i'm going through Koodo, due to them being like the only provider in Canada to NOT do 3 year contracts, my choice of phones is kinda limited unless I wanted to buy a phone myself and just set it up with koodo instead, but that's an expensive pain in the ass.

So I settled on getting a Samsung Galaxy Ace. Reviews are middle of the road for it, but meh. My sister has it and I don't mind it when I messed around with it. It's the best android phone Koodo offers.
For something I wont use much, it should do fine.

I'm actually kinda excited to get it, but I suppose I just always enjoy getting new things. if i'm lucky i'll have it by friday.

The only thing I haven't taken pictures of are my cards because there's a ton of them (3 binders full+ some loose sheets + decks not yet sheeted) and I need to take them out of their binder pages because the glare ruins the photos. Fun. Might see how a scanner works. Oh, and my small tapestries since they aren't hanging yet.

So I finally decided to go about buying something i'd been wanting to buy for a loooong time now.

"Nendoroid Plus Plush Series No.34 Saber Extra and No.35 Caster Set"


I found them on ebay ages ago for something like $120+30 shipping. At the time, couldn't justify it. Buuut recently I finally decided it was time to buy them.

Go to search them up.
They no longer exist. Anywhere. No shop on the fucking internet sells them. I waited too long and now they're gone forever.

Albeit i'm not the best ever at searching but yeah. Just. Fuck life and all that jazz, I can't find 'em. Completely my fault, I know. But still dammit, this sucks.

I refuse to ever buy an anime figurine, but i'm content with buying plushies from the Nendoroid Plus Plush series, since they're pretty damn adorable (I own a Dead Master and Black Rock Shooter plushie).

tl;dr: Life is over.

I got my bluray of Ef: A Tale of Memories a week or two ago and I never got the chance to watch it with the room housing my PS3 being under construction. Well yesterday I finally had a chance to watch it.
Watched all 12 episodes straight through. Loved it. Ef is an incredibly visual anime, and it was GORGEOUS in bluray quality. I know when I tried to download ep1 it was 1gb ripped from the bluray. Which is huge for a single episode.
It was great watching it again though. I had wanted to for ages. It's actually surprising how many A Tale of Melodies things appear in Memories. They're the kind of thing you wouldn't really pay attention to, but after watching Melodies the little things have a lot more meaning to them. Can't wait to watch A Tale of Melodies. It's heartbreaking, but it's even more of a visual anime than Memories, so it's going to look amazing.
Also I didn't mind the dub. I thought I would. But it grew on me. Except Illich Guardiola. I will slaughter a fucking village of puppies if he's included in any more English dubs. He's god awful and has a speech impediment, HOW THE HELL IS HE A VA?!
It's going to really piss me off in A Tale of Melodies since the character he voices switches to being a main character...


On a different note, I can't believe it's a week till Graces is released. I was completely oblivious of the current date until I found myself on metacritic and I randomly decided to search up Graces, only to find a countdown for it. Going to be epic, aside from me working friday and saturday, QQ. Lots of time off before and after, though.
Ended up playing the jap demo for it again before I started up Ef. Damn is it fun, and I didn't even have a damn clue what was going on.

Playing the Tera Online EU beta right now and I ended up getting a quest....it was 5person recommended quest to go kill a rather tough BAM (big ass monster).
Usually they exaggerate this fact, so I thought "what the hell" and went to find one to kill by myself.

First of all, it's huge. Fucking gigantic. Second, my combos did around 1% of its hp, if I could even pull the full thing off...and chances are I couldn't because it would maim me in an instant if I tried to soak a hit to finish a combo.
I have around 5.5k hp. This thing could hit 1k normally and crit for nearly 4k, and staggering it or knocking it down basically never happened.
Also you can hit things while they're knocked down. This counts for monsters too. So when this thing knocks me down for half my HP and then proceeds to try to jump its ass on top of me for likely 3/4 of my health...not having a good time.

To make the fight just THAT MUCH FUNNER, I accidentally hit my PVP-toggle hotkey instead of my potion one beside it, which sends you into PK mode for 60 seconds (or as I found out, 60 seconds of NOT BEING IN A FIGHT. So...the entire BAM fight was me in PVP constantly having to check over my shoulder for noobs.

I actually killed this fucking thing. It exploded in a shower of items and gave me 43k exp (that's 1/3 of what I needed to level up, which is crazy). I feel like a god.
I can't believe I did that. It was so god damn tough to fight since all of its moves had gigantic arcs, and it LOVED surprise-r*pe-crit-attacks. Pretty obvious why it was SUPPOSED to be a party fight, but screw parties.

It was funny too, every so often a person would wander over and just stand there, watching me fight this thing. I can't help but imagine they were thinking if they wanted to try and PK me.
But i'm also pretty sure they also thought "Yeah that guy would beat the shit out of me if he's strong enough to take that thing on solo."

After Story, anyway.

I've watched Clannad probably 9 times now. But i've only seen After Story about 3 times. I tend to get cold feet and move on to something else before starting AS, because it's so freakin' sad. Despite Misae and Yukine's arcs being two of my favorites.

Clannad was the anime that basically got me into anime. I hated anime, despised it. Based on the limited amount of anime i'd ever seen, I was convinced no anime had a good story. Hell based on what the girls I hung around with watched, I was right. The anime they watched was utter shit.

But then I played the Clannad VN, saw it had an anime, and watched it. After crying like a bitch through both seasons I essentially realized I was completely full of shit, and started watching more and more anime. Though, i'm still pretty picky. I ditch a lot of animes after a few episodes if they aren't up to par.
I'm a sucker for romance dramas. Especially ones that can weave comedy into it without taking away from the drama, or using it awkwardly.

Anyway, the motivation is the same as always. I listened to Megumeru and Toki Wo Kizamu Uta (both seasons OP) several times then decided i'm going to watch AS. Both OPs are still my favorites of all time, no matter how many animes I watch.

So my Dad decided to check for me, and it turns out i'll be getting a rather nice sum back for my first tax refund....
