It's recently this trend seems to be happening more often nowadays and not just with teens, even adults. But that's just part of the reason I am making this blog.
Yesterday my best friend Zach was in a wreck well he was driving to work, because some kid (I actually know the other guy too, but I will leave his name out of this blog) was texting well driving to school on a very dangerous road (interesting note, the same road that Mike's dad wracked on several years ago and died.) Zach and the other driver came out ok, both just some minor scratches and bumps, but alive. Their cars on the other hand were totaled. This was an easily preventable crash that could have killed some because that dude couldn't wait to answer a text message.
People I have been against this for quite some time (since I was nearly hit several times from people texting and driving) but today I felt the need to speak against it instead remaining quiet.

TEXTING AND DRIVING IS FUCKING STUPID, DON'T DO IT!

It's strange for me not to be interested in a Nintendo product since I have always loved playing them since I was a kid. But after a year of being out the 3DS has not even once come close to impressing me like the Nintendo products of the past. It seems more gimmicky and the gaming library just isn't very impressive, there are some good games on it, but that's the word, some. Nintendo products used to never have "some" when referring to their gaming library, which already speaks volumes on how little this one interest me. Not to mention I can't even see the 3D, so I already lose the biggest selling point right off the bat. To make matters worse Nintendo is still making Nintendo DS games, I mean come on if their new system is even worth a damn, start making games for it instead of making games for the system you are trying to get rid of.

As for the Vita, I am not going to lie, I have never been a big Sony fan. I am not just talking about the gaming systems, the whole company in general. I just never liked any of their products. Not say I am all like "NINTENDO ALL THE WAY!" Because honestly I would have to say the PS2 and Xbox 1 are still two of my favorite systems. It boils down to the fact that I never liked how they market their products. With that said, I honestly tried the Vita and really tried to enjoy it, but it just had nothing that made me interested in it. Even from the first announcement, I just wasn't interested in it. I am not going to lie, it's a powerful system and has a lot to offer, but it's just not for me.

I guess this boils down to, no one wins in my book. Personally I wasn't interested in either system at the moment they were announced and upon trying both of them I am still not interested. Does this mean I won't buy them? No, in a few years when more games come out and they have more to offer I will buy them, but as it stands now I don't want either of them.

After months of failed attempts, I finally did it, I finally found the right hard drive for my xbox and got it to work.
Yesterday I was doing some digging around and I found this old DVR, inside of it there was a clearly visible hard drive and the name on it really looked interesting to me. So I opened it up and got a closer look at, looked it up, and found out it was the right hard drive I needed. So I was like

It was only 120gig, but that's way more than the 4gigs I had to work with. I installed it using Chimp, so I used the DVR for the power for the new hard drive as cloned the old one onto it. The locked and it's working perfectly now!
I am busy copying all my games onto the hard drive so I can stop damaging them when I want to play them. I am quite happy. with myself

To start this off first, my friend wanted me to work on his Xbox 1, since he wanted to mod it, but it also needed a new dvd drive or so we thought.

Today I spent the day with one of my friends doing the normal, which is going shopping and playing video games. Well we wanted to working on his xbox since he bought a memory card for it and I could then transfer over the files needed to hack into it. Well after getting that all done I threw in a game just to make sure the dvd drive was really broken. Now we've spent months under the assumption that this thing was broken and couldn't read disks since it kept giving him and error (that we didn't even bother to read.) Well today I threw in an M rated game only to happen to read the error message for once. Then it dawned on me, the parental controls were still on...after months of trying to get a new dvd drive, it turns out that was never even the problem to begin with. After figure out how stupid it was NOT to read the error message, I finally fixed the settings and BAM! The games worked! It was like night and day! Then I was able to work on his xbox for him.
The moral of this story, read the error message, it is there for a reason. To tell you want you are doing wrong.

As everyone knows my Acekard broke about a week ago and I mean to replace it, well I also wanted an R4i Gold, so Mike bought one from zhuzhuchina.
I have to say I am impressed with the service, it only took little over a week to get here and they even sent me a little bakugan for some reason <.< It wasn't part of order and I never even played it before, but whatever it's cute and I am keeping it

Last night just sucked me...well early this morning that is.
Around 1:00 I was about to get ready for bed when Mike asked me to get a copy of Pokemon Black and White (we own a hard copy, he wanted a rom) so I went and got them. Then decided I really didn't want the 2gig limit for my R4, so I jumped to my 4gig and was about to use my Acekard 2i and buy an R4i Gold later for Wood. You know what happened? Nothing, no really the Acekard wouldn't so up, no matter what I did and when it did it was just a white screen. I tried everything to make it work and nothing helped. So I just went to my Supercard DSonei, which for some reason wouldn't load games on any firmware I used (EOS, DSTT, YSMENU.) So I tried fixing for hours. I spent 2 hours working on all this shit and nothing worked. By the time I was done failing, I finally just deleted some games on my 2gig and put them on that for now.
Ugg it that was waste of 2 hours that should have taken ten minutes. I am trying to fix everything right now.

I am not sure how many people know about this video

It's about the current in Uganda and a man name Joseph Kony and trying to bring him to justice.
I am not going to lie, I honestly didn't know anything about this until I saw that video and now I think it's time we help spread the word and do something about this.
I know this is a video game site, but that shouldn't matter when it comes down to stopping people like Joseph Kony. As well the world needs to know.
What I suggest is everyone just do something, hell even add a link in your signature or post it on facebook, anything to spread the word. I am not asking for people to march down the street or anything, just something small to raise more attention to this man and what he is doing.

Well Mike's nephew gave me a broken DS Lite that was run over by a car. Interestingly enough the only thing wrong with it is the screens don't work so well, but the board and everything inside is just fine. So I am going to replace the broken screen and a few other parts, then throw my old shell on there and remake that DS! But first I need my brother to ship down my parts from Massachusetts (they were left behind in a box we forgot.) After that I will start work on fixing it.

On a side note, damn Nintendo products are tough. I mean this is like the 4th DS I have worked with that had something like run over with a car and still only suffered minor damages. Hell this one was also in some water to add on to the shit to happen to the poor thing and it still works (more or less.) If there is one thing Nintendo knows how to do, it's make tough systems.

What's the appeal to him? I have never been one for rap, but he mostly just talks the whole song through. I heard so many good reviews for him, but I guess I just don't see what everyone else is seeing.
