 | Got my freaking bag stolen
| I was at a gaming arcade (CHQ Metrotown, Burnaby, BC, Canada), I put down my bag right next to the machine because it was heavy and someone grabbed it and ran away.
Lost:
Name brand bag (black/grey)
Blue PSP Phat + 16GB legit MSPD
Black NDSL + AK2 + 1GB microSD
Sony earphones
Umbrella
Puppy doll pencil case with stationary
2 bottles of Powerade
Totalling over $700 worth of stuff (when I bought them)
Since it's too costly to buy them again (even just the machines), I'm gonna quit DS and PSP gaming.
If you see someone bragging about acquisition of a bag with above contents on the web please let me know. |

| I got rid of caller ID from my cell phone service 2 months ago to cut some costs, had no major problem since
But today at 4:11 a.m. someone called my cell.
I woke up but ended up missing it and I have no way to know what it's supposed to be about.
And I was having a sweet dream too although can't remember exactly what, somewhere between sleeping with 15 girls and getting a perfect score on 15 puzzle games. Probably the latter =P

The model is 1/144 HGUC Z'Gok-E, with her own color scheme. Airbrushed with lacquer, brush painted in places with enamel, and finished with lacquer and acrylic matt clear coat.

All: Primer + Clear coat (matt everywhere except claws)
Body: Mr.Color Super Black + Midnight Blue -> Dark Blueish
Upper arms and thighs: Mr.Color Super Black + Super White -> Grey
Claws: Mr.Color Super Metallic Super Fine Silver + Steel -> Metallic color that's sharp but doesn't look like silver either
Red Parts: Mr.Color Monza Red
Wash and cockpit: Tamiya Flat Black
Damage on beam cannon (center of palm): Tamiya Flat Black and Testors Bronze

The one featured in the last shot is 1/144 HGUC Gundam MKII Extra Finish. I also have a 1/100 MG Gundam MKII AEUG painted to look like Extra Finish, but didn't take a picture due to scale differences. (And it's too dusty =P Done two years ago)
The last picture has the closest color to actual model, first time taking photos of gunpla and natural light sure is better than room lighting. Too lazy to re-take photos though.
I have to say it's a pretty well assembled and painted kit, considering it's her very first one. |

I didn't "miss" anything, if it's not on the list, that means I'm not interested in it or its release date is still TBA.
Multiplatform games landed on 360 list for somewhat obvious reasons (if you know me, then...).
I don't compile a list of DS games myself because that's done by fellow tempers here and I just need to click their thread and BAM! Not only that, when they get released (in a scene sense) tempers share enough information to get me hooked :yay:
I really wish 360 was region free, I'd have been playing Tales of Vesperia since last week. But oh well what can I do. At least I can play games for all other consoles/handhelds I have regardless of region. |

| | Sigh.. bad ebay strategy
| I've been tracking an item.
The top bid was $21 and I bid $42 when 48 seconds were remaining.
Little did I know the top bidder was monitoring the item real-time. He bid 4 times in those 48 seconds and my winning bid skyrocketed from $21.50 to $31.00
It's still within my budget (obviously, I bid $42 for god's sake), but not optimal.
Bleh.. next time I'm waiting until I hit 10 seconds mark...
Quite sad the bid ended on a Saturday, 2 non-business days I just have to wait...
Auction ended at 2:12 pm. Sent payment and contacted seller about payment, seller's reply received at 2:21 pm.
Well, I guess there's an upside to having an auction end on a Saturday too. Not all sellers can reply within 10 minutes of auction end time everyday.
P.S. Text below are majorly rant. Don't read if you don't want to, nothing really productive. Bashing a seller.
I think why the new ebay rules kicked in. I checked the buyer's feedback who retaliated me with negative when I left a neutral.
S/He calls buyers an "idiot" and "moron" (exact quote, several times) in replies, makes fun of buyer's typos, leaves comments like "Buyer lies", etc.
I skimmed through his feedbacks and apparently his selling "cases that are cut" as "factory sealed". It's amazing how he gets 99% positive.
Putting "BRAND NEW FACTORY SEALED" in the title and writing cases are damaged in the middle of a wall of text is quite deceiving.
"Clearly states" my ass, fucking learn to press enter.
OKAY PEOPLE SO THIS IS AN EXAMPLE SENTENCE YES SENTENCE NOT A PARAGRAPH BECAUSE I AM NOT GONNA PRESS ENTER JUST LIKE THE SELLER AND CREATE A WALL OF TEXT AND HIDE A CONFLICTING INFORMATION IN THE MIDDLE OF THIS JUNK LIKE I SAID BAD STRATEGY IN THE TITLE BUT NOTE THAT IT WAS GOOD AND THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT CLEARLY STATES MEANS I MEAN IT IS FREAKING HARD TO CREATE A WALL OF TEXT THAT IS FOUR LINES AND ALL IN CAPS WHEN I PREVIEW POST I DON'T GET AS NEARLY LONG POST AS I WAS HOPING FOR ANYWAY IF YOU'VE READ UP TO THIS POINT YOUR EYES MUST BE QUITE SORE AND I HAVE WRITTEN ENOUGH TO CREATE FOUR LINES I BELIEVE SO YEAH I'M GONNA FINISH THIS PARAGRAPH UH NO SENTENCE WITH A FULL STOP THERE YOU GO BAM.
Yeah, very clearly stated huh.
BTW, if you've spotted the "clearly stated contradiction" that's just an example, it was still a bad strategy. |
