hoooooly crap
| Okay, it has been on the front page of temp as the news about an aussie guy getting done for stuff on NSMW and then thought oh no. I also remember seeing the thread and him posting a receipt which said Mt Ommany shopping center.
Anyway, my Mum got home around 4 minutes ago from my sisters house and came down to tell me my sisters boyfriend's brother james had got sued and shit. I asked what and she said yes, something about pirating a new super mario brothers. When she said that I thought holy shit, she told me that the police came in and raided his house and shit and that he is in jail and has a $100,000 fine and that Nintendo sued for $1.5 million.
This is really fucking crazy, apparently it was lucky that he was under the age of 25 otherwise his parents could get done for affiliation and have their house taken, etc.
This is really really fucking weird, though I think the reason he was able to get his hands on the game at first is because he used to be a manager of an EB Games. |

| | XBOX YEAH
| Well I finally got my 360 for Christmas which I really wanted, I got an Elite which came with LEGO Batman and Pure (Some weird quadbike racing game) which are kinda cool. I also got Mass Effect, Bioshock and Splinter Cell: Double Agent. Anyway, for Christmas I was at a relatives house and also stayed there for a few more days and only today I got back home and finally was able to play my 360. Though what I have found is that my console only came with the standard video cables when my friend who recently got an Elite got component cables, so when using PAL-60 my picture is all stretched and badly anti-aliased and when using PAL-50 it is cleared up slightly (For some bizarre reason) but is uncompatible with some games (eg: Mass Effect) which makes it look terrible and when playing Mass Effect the picture is slightly jumpy and horrible. Anyway I'm going to go out and buy some component cables on Tuesday (When the shops reopen) and maybe Modern Warfare 2. Though it was really irritating when playing Mass Effect because the picture was darker and anti-aliased all badly (If any), the picture was stretched and also the words were near unreadable that I read omni-gel as omni-get or health-get.
EDIT: Oh wow I thought that Tuesday was tomorrow when infact it is today, time to get myself some sleep! |

| | Right now I'm in exam and submissions block, exams start next week and I have a few things so submit this week (Math, Visual Art, Business, English). It's been pretty good, I've got everything organised. Though I'm afraid of procrastination, does anyone have any tips that I could use? |

| | Moving In
| | I'm not sure if I posted something like this before, though some tempers that I talk to in the IRC and such know that I have been building a house (not literally me). And this Friday it will be fully finished and cleaned up so then all that is left to do is unpack (Stuff is already at the house) and move in, though I won't be moving in until Monday because that's when the electrician comes and turns the power for the house on. Though I probably won't get around to unpacking much stuff and organising my things seeing as next week and the week after I've got my exams and submissions block for school. |
